CAN-LIGHT

My greatest ideas are ahead of our time. For now, BETTER IDEAS will bring these greater ideas into the present. This is only the beginning. Amazing possibilities start with you & me, our neighbors, and our communities.My best ideas for energy and transportation have advanced designs and there is a lot of groundwork to cover before these can be accomplished. I’ve had to back-up to the beginning. This project and my other crowdfunding campaigns will get us started.

When things don’t work, I “work-around” the problem until I’ve solved it. I was installing recessed-lighting fixtures for a homeowner, which took 4 hours of cutting holes into their ceiling.This part of the installation process is time consuming and causes unnecessary damage to the area. Patch work is then needed to make the area presentable. This frustrating experience got me thinking about a better idea, which is the focus of the CAN-LIGHT project. The improved design cuts the installation time.The installation can be finished with less damage and clean-up time. It also uses fewer tools.The lighting area needs no patching, though the area where the wires run still requires it.

I've explained the problems with installing recessed-lights.The improved fixtures make installation quicker and easier with less mess, while preventing unnecessary damage to the installation area.

For this project, the crowdfunding community can help Mr. Ford with funds for patent protection, product portfolio, and marketing.A product portfolio is used to proactively market the idea to companies that will review the invention and hopefully license the product or buy the patent rights. Creating a portfolio such as this is normally less expensive and more efficient than making a physical prototype.
