For1Reason Advertising funding

This is not really a "business plan" just a synapses of what I would need to move forward... Not to complicated an Idea, so I hope it will suffice.

Being working in and around the Music and Sound Design industry since 2003: just celebrated my 9th anniversary in fact. As the model for the music industry has changed so drastically and as my business is becoming more and more irrelevant, I figured Id get out while Im ahead. And since Ive always wanted to try something new that can actually work, this may be the
perfect segue.

Basically, I want to and kindve have attempted to already make the transition over to dating websites. Yeah, I know, there are dozens already, but hear me out...

For the last 9 years now, Ive provided a service to music producers(niche)--more so, urban music producers(double niche)--which only garnered reach to say, 125,000 people worldwide. Thats essentially 0.002% of the population. OK. The way I see it, according to the US Census there are currently 99.6 million single people in the US alone. And IF I can catch just the attention of just 0.5% of Americans, using the niche(s) I have in mind, thats potentially 4,980,000 people interested. And realistically, if I were able to get just 5% of these 4.9m, I think I could be comfortable receiving $17 from 249,000 people each, every month. See what I did?

I do however understand that this may all just be wishful thinking, BUT completely possible. Reason I believe so: 3 years back I met a guy who was successfully running a niche "dating" site. He said it took him about 15 months to get it off the ground, but at the end of it all, he was pulling in a consistent $650,000 a month MINIMUM, off word-of-mouth advertising, ad banners and Google Adsense. Im not sure if any of what he was telling me was true(as I didnt actually see any numbers), through my research over the last few months, I have to say this is no anomaly for successful dating sites. Plus, his 2010 Bentley Coupe (in early 2009) was pretty much a clear indicator he was getting ridiculous loads of money from somewhere. During this research, Ive also found there are sites out there that are terribly outdated in terms of design, limited reach, content and features, that still manage to make $50,000+ monthly. As I am not the type of person that settles for mediocre design, content and features, I dont think I would have any problem reaching such a milestone.

So here I am. I have 2 sites in mind; one currently up and one on the way. The one that is currently up was in fact my 2nd site, but easier to build; its semi-adult in nature, though classy. Its NOT like AFF. Its essentially for responsible singles who have little time or energy for a serious relationship, but want other needs met. You get the picture, we are all adults here. My 1st site which is still under way is about imperfect people putting their "baggage" on the table before they attempt to seek a serious relationship, thereby giving them an honest, fresh start at love, with someone who for all intents and purposes, isnt exactly perfect either--which technically is everyone. The set up is pretty complex and there are a bunch of formulas I need to complete to , but I believe is done right, this site could be the next Match.com, no joke.

Now, all it comes down to is the ad bucks. I build and code my own sites, graphics, social media, etc. Just need some serious money to pay for the painfully expensive advertising costs; well, at least for now. Id like to think with an advert budget of $3000 a month; $100 a day($1500 each site), that after about 6 months of consistent advert and social reach, this thing couple really take off. And by so many estimates, thats starting small. But if I can make a living doing this, anything greater than the 0.002% Im currently receiving, then Im happy. I dont even need or want a Bentley anyway...
