For Woody’s Sake Please Help

Woody really needs your help.

Woody’s life has not been easy. He was dumped, rescued by me but then had a horrific accident which left his tail badly mangled. Now this old boy has developed severe arthritis in his joints & he needs injections. He has tried all kinds of pills but they haven’t worked and it’s getting to the point where he winces in pain with every step he takes.

I have other pets, am currently out of a full time job due to Covid and am simply unable to find another job given the economic climate although I work part time at anything I can get and with help from lovely friends. Given all this I still somehow manage to keep a roof over my head, keep my pets fed, watered & safe but just do not have the funds or the means at the moment to provide Woody with the pain relief he so desperately needs. His sad eyes tell a story of pain & suffering.

He has had his first consultation with the vet & has had 2 injections of cartophen which cost HK$280each. He will need 2 more of these injections this month & subsequently once a month for the rest of his life.

He will also require 2 blood tests a year to check for side effects of toxicity which will cost around HK500 each time.
