FOR THE LOVE OF RYAN

In July of 2018, my brother Ryan was rushed to the ER of Makati Medical Center since this is the closest to his current residence where he is confined for almost 7 months now. He was diagnosed with TB Meningitis.

With his current diagnosis, his motor function has been affected and the result of which is paralysis of both legs. Though there have been minimal improvements since his confinement, a thorough therapy will still be required to fully restore his leg function which may really take some time. While there were improvements in his current condition, there were also other conditions which requires treatment and medications such as low levels of electrolytes and occurrences of angina.

Our bill in the hospital has exponentially grew bigger and this is something that we are really worried about aside from his condition. My brother is the breadwinner of the family having my other siblings already have their own families and our parents, who flew all the way from CDO, are already seniors and with no source of income. He has been on leave from work since the time of his confinement and has exhausted his savings. We never thought that his hospitalization will take this long. Our family has enough to get by. We only have a little and right now we really need help, in direly need of help.

Our bill is already 3M and we really don’t know how and where to get the amount and fulfill our dues in the hospital. We have already allotted our own resources for his bills and already went to government agencies however we still fall short because what we have is only enough and enough will not discharge him from the hospital.

We humbly knock on your gentle hearts to help us financially, for us to bring our brother Ryan back home to CDO to continue with his recovery and for us to be able to take care of him well. We don’t have much time left because as we continue to stay here in the hospital, our bill grows bigger.
