For The Love Of Pat

This is my nephew, Patrick Akins. He is 38 years old and his heart is failing. He had a heart attack in December of 2012. In January of 2013, he had a second heart and received a triple bypass and a pacemaker and a defibrillator. His heart is now functioning at only 6%. Our only hope is a mechanical heart transplant, if he is accepted as a candidate. The medication that he needs to survive is very expensive, 3,000 dollars a month. His disability insurance will pay 80% of the cost. The balance, he has to pay out of pocket. Our family doesn't have it... Patrick is the single parent of a 14 year old son, Tj. Patrick was released from the hospital with only enough medicine to last until the end of this month... Please, help my nephew live!
