For The Love of Jo is a fund set up for a 36 year old wife and mother of 2 who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She has cancer of the Brain, Lung and Spine. This was diagnosed 2 years after undergoing a double mastectomy for breast cancer (shortly after giving birth to her youngest child). Her children are 9 and 2.

This fund is being set up to help Jo's family after she is gone. So far we have raised £4000 independently through raffles, bring and buy sales, a psychic night and the good will of people. We want to help her husband raise their children on a single income and no widow’s pension.

We have also had prizes donated by small businesses and large businesses. Everton Football Club have been fantastic in offering the eldest child a chance to meet his favourite football players, as have Fleetwood Football Club, where he was a mascot.

We hope that everyone will get involved in this very special cause that is close to the hearts of all the people who know and love Jo.

Jo wishes to remain anonymous through this difficult time.
