Hello!

I decided to create a campaign to honor our heroes who courageously fought to protect our countrymen against the Novel CoronaVirus but lost the battle against this terrible disease.

This is to bless their families with some financial gift at terrible time like this. All funds that will be raised from this campaign will be divided and go directly to them.

I will personally make sure that the money goes to their families. This is so heartbreaking. I cannot just sit at home so comfortably while there are heartbroken bereaved families grieving the loss of these amazing human beings. No words could probably comfort their families right now, but with our generosity, we can bless them. For those who cannot donate, please include their families in your prayers.

Stay at home. Do your part responsibly. DO NOT LIE!

Thank you, our heroes: Dr Greg Macasaet. Dr Israel Bactol. Dr. Oncologist (San Juan De Dios Hospital). We owe you our lives and forever, we shall be grateful. Rest in Peace, our heroes!

MALACAÑANG on Sunday, March 22, commended the “selfless and heroic deeds” of health workers as the Philippine medical community mourned the passing of three Filipino doctors who died from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Cardiologist Israel Bactol from the Philippine Heart Center, anesthesiologist Gregorio Macasaet III of Manila Doctors Hospital and an oncologist at the San Juan de Dios Hospital succumbed to the disease in the last two days.

The Philippine Heart Center (PHC), in a statement, confirmed Bactol’s death and described him as “a casualty of this war” against Covid-19.

“We honor him as he lost his young life while fulfilling his duties as a doctor, a young cardiologist and a dedicated member of PHA,” the association said.

The Philippine Medical Association (PMA), in a separate statement, said it “deeply mourns for our fallen colleagues who have died while serving on the front line in the fight against Covid-19.”

“You are a great loss to the medical profession and to our country. We thank you dear doctors for finishing the race with a great fight,” the group said.

Read below a post from Facebook that narrates about what happened do Dr Bactol :( (SO HEARTBREAKING)

The Cost of LYING

One of the saddest, most tragic news I’ve come across: A 34-year-old doctor has died from Covid-19. The worse part: he got infected by a patient who only disclosed his travel history to China 3 days after getting admitted to the hospital.

The young doctor survived college and medical school only with scholarships, then he eventually became his family’s breadwinner. Colleagues and friends say he was one of the kindest people they know.

#Frontliners and their families are the hardest hit community of this awful pandemic. Please continue praying for their safety. And send as much help as we can in providing protective gear and other essentials to them.

You can also deposit the money directly to Elijah Bactol - Dr Israel's Brother

If you want to send financial help to his family, send thru BPI account number 9190012317 under the name Elijah B. Bactol, the doctor’s brother.
