Protecting and Restoring the unique NATURE of Transylvania

Transylvania ‘the land beyond the forests’ Europe’s last great wilderness with the highest population of bears and wolfs in continental Europe NEEDS YOUR HELP! In the past decades, the once seemingly endless forests have shrunk, depriving wildlife of their habitat.

PANDO is an NGO established in 2016 with the purpose of PRESERVING and RESTORING this unique and beautiful landscape, to achieve harmony between people and nature and to conserve and educate the general population.

Since our establishment, we run several nature and urban projects. We are appreciating any kind of donation for these projects:

1. Ecosystem Rehabilitation in Transylvania-s most beautiful national park, the Retezat NP where we already planted 12.000 (twelve thousand) saplings on 3 hectares. The planted saplings require constant care for at least five years, with irrigation in the case of drought and protection against grazing animals.
2. Replanting an oak forest in the Ciuc Depression. The project started in 2020 with the planting of 3500 oak saplings on 1.2 hectares. The project will continue until we reach an area of approximately 30 hectares of planted area.
3. Ecological restoration of a Transylvanian wood pasture. We will start the restoration work in October with the planting of 500 sessile oaks on an area of 20 hectares and intend to carry out the restoration work on a minimum of 50 additional hectares each year until the restoration of the entire 200-hectare area is completed with the planting of 5,000 sessile oaks in total.
4. UTree. Tree inventory, webpage with online map, and mobile application to catalogue urban trees. The project already started in five Romanian cities, and the local community through volunteering currently maps it.

We are going to use your donation solely for the project of your choosing, and as an extra appreciation by supporting our efforts, you will benefit from the following:

• For every 10 dollars/euros donated we will commit to plant a tree in your name in of our planting location. We will take care of it for at least six years, and send yearly printed or online materials about the specific project where your tree was planted .

Transilvania, ‘țara de dincolo de păduri’, ultima regiune sălbatică din Europa, cu cea mai mare populație de lupi și urși din regiunea continentală, ARE NEVOIE DE AJUTORUL TĂU!

În ultimele decade, ceea ce păreau odată păduri nesfârșite s-au împuținat, micșorându-se astfel și habitatul faunei.

PANDO este o ONG înființată în 2016 cu scopul de a PĂSTRA și REFACE aceste minunate și unice zone pentru a obține o armonie între oameni și natură, a conserva și a educa populația.

De la înființarea organizației noastre am inițiat câteva proiecte urbane și de mediu. Apreciem orice tip de donație pentru aceste proiecte:

• Reabilitarea ecosistemului în cel mai frumos parc național din Transilvania, Parcul Retezat, unde am plantat 12.000 de puieți pe o suprafață de 3 hectare. Aceștia necesită grijă constantă cel puțin 5 ani, cu irigare în caz de secetă și protecție împotriva atacului animalelor.
• Replantarea unei păduri de stejari în Depresiunea Ciuc. Proiectul a început în 2020 cu 3.500 de puieți pe 1,2 hectare. Proiectul va continua până la atingerea unei suprafețe plantate de 30 de hectare.
• Reabilitarea ecologică a unei pășuni cu arbori transilvănene. Vom începe lucrul în octombrie cu plantarea a 500 de goruni pe 20 de hectare și intenționăm să continuăm pe încă minim 50 de hectare anual până la o suprafață totală de 200 de hectare cu 5.000 de goruni.
• UTree. Inventarierea copacilor, pagină web și aplicație mobilă pentru catalogarea arborilor din oraș. Proiectul a început deja în 5 orașe din România și comunitatea locală prin voluntari se ocupă de completarea catalogului arborilor urbani.

Vom folosi donația dumneavoastră pentru proiectul ales și în semn de apreciere pentru suportul oferit veți beneficia de următoarele:

• Pentru fiecare 10 dolari/euro donați vom planta un copac în numele dumneavoastră pe plantația noastră. Vom avea grijă de el pentru cel puțin 6 ani. Vom crea și trimite materiale printate sau online despre proiectul specific unde am plantat copacul dumneavoastră.

Európa utolsó érintetlen vadonjának nagyrészére Erdélyben bukkanhatunk.. Ez a vadon ad otthont, többek között a barna medve és a szürke farkas egyik legnagyobb Európai populációinak. Nem hunyhatunk szemet afelett, hogy az elmúlt évtizedekben, az egykoron végeláthatatlan erdők, felszabdalódottak, összezsugorodtak, ezáltal megfosztva élőhelyüktől, az ott élő állatokat. Erdély vadonjának SZÜKSÉGE VAN A SEGÍTSÉGEDRE!

A PANDO egy 2016-ban létrehozott civil szervezet, amelynek célja ennek az egyedülálló és gyönyörű tájnak a megőrzése és helyreállítása, az emberek és a természet közötti összhang megteremtése és fenntartása, valamint a lakosság ökológiai nevelése.

Megalakulásunk óta, számos városi és környezetvédelmi projektet indítottunk el.

• Ökoszisztéma-rehabilitáció Erdély legszebb nemzeti parkjában, a Retyezát NP-ban, ahol az utóbbi 2 évben 12 000 (tizenkétezer) csemetét ültettünk el 3 hektáron. Az ültetett csemeték legalább öt évig állandó gondozást igényelnek, szárazság esetén öntözéssel és a legelésző állatok elleni védelemmel.
• Tölgyerdő újratelepítése a Csíki medencében. A projekt 2020-ban 3500 tölgyfa csemete ültetésével kezdődött 1,2 hektáron. A projekt addig folytatódik, amíg el nem érjük a megközelítőleg 30 hektár beültetett területet.
• Erdélyi fás legelő ökológiai helyreállítása. Októberben megkezdjük a helyreállítási munkálatokat, 500 kocsánytalan tölgy telepítésével egy 20 hektáros területen. A helyreállítási munkálatokat évente minimum 50 további hektáron kívánjuk folytatni, amíg a teljes 200 hektáros terület helyreállítása be nem fejeződik, összesen 5000 kocsánytalan tölgy telepítésével.
• UTree. Fa leltár, weboldal online térképpel, és mobil alkalmazás a városi fák katalógusához. A projekt már öt romániai városban elkezdődött és több ezer fa került felmérésre és meghatározásra, a helyi közösség és az egyetemi szféra önkénteseinek segítségével.

A fent felsorolt projektekhez nagyra értékelünk bármilyen adományt.

A beérkező adományokat kizárólag az általad választott projektre fogjuk felhasználni, és támogatásoddal további elismerésként a következő előnyöket élvezheted:

• Minden felajánlott 10 dollár / euróért, a nevedben ültetünk egy fát, az ültetési területeink egyikén. Legalább hat évig gondozzuk, és évente online vagy nyomtatott formában további információs anyagokat küldünk, az általad támogatott projekt helyzetéről.
