For the Family of Robert Dumont

Robert and his family moved into their dream home less than two years ago. Shortly after, his wife, Monica, was faced with the choice of being laid-off or taking a transfer to the Bakersfield area. They needed both incomes, so she rented an apartment close to her job and came home on weekends, all the while trying to find work closer to home again. Then Robert was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer during the holidays (2012). Robert's illness came on fast and aggressive. Monica had to take a leave of absence to care for him. Robert's cancer took his life on February 24th, just five days after his 45th birthday. Monica has not been able to get a hardship transfer back to SoCal, and now she is left alone to take care of their three sons, Jakob and Logan (who are still in high school), and Nick. The family needs our help to ensure that they can stay afloat financially while Monica seeks employment closer to home. Robert was a good and generous man. To honor his memory, please let's all pull together and help his family during this difficult time.
