For The Family of Bebette and Edmund

This campaign is to humbly ask for your help for the family of my Auntie Bebette and Uncle Edmund. Both are very special to me. They are the kindest, most loving people I know, loved by many.

My heart breaks because we lost my Tita Bebette to Covid last March 31, 2021. Everything happened so unexpectedly and so fast that she had to be buried the same day she was rushed to the Binalbagan Infirmary, with no family present but just the people from the City Health. I will never know how much pain this causes to Tito Edmund and my cousins Pearl, Larae, Mc Raymond, Earl Jan and John Ed… and to all of us who love Tita. It devastates all of us that we could not be physically gather as a family and give Tita Bebette the beautiful wake and farewell she so deserves.

But the anguish continues because the next few days, Tito Edmund was also rushed to the hospital and was found to have been infected with Covid-19 too. He is now in Bacolod, grieving and fighting for his life with the following diagnosis:

SARS Cov confirmed case, Moderate Pneumonia with mild Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, T/C Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3 secondary to DM Nephropathy vs Acute Kidney Injury due to SARS Cov (on Hemoperfusion), Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes Mellitus Type 2.

Apart from having to go through the pain of loss, my dear cousins have to fight fear of losing another parent while also help each other in managing the expenses. Hospitalization for COVID - 19 is so expensive, It’s only been 3 days but bills and expenses already is close to P400,000. I am starting this campaign to somehow give honor to our dear Tita Bebette, so that when this tragedy is all over we can give her a proper burial but most importantly now, to humbly ask you to help us with Tito Edmund’s hospital bills. It is our prayer that God will know and repay your kindness and love. A million thank you on behalf of the Badilla-Hormigoso family.
