Two years after promising results from her 2021 chemotherapy treatments, single mother Paz/Peachy of Naga City needs continued help and prayers.

Early this year, the colon cancer progressed to Stage 4, metastasized to the liver, and required a new program of treatments, which was largely covered by ₱300K in donations raised on and off this platform. Underlying the cancer, Peachy was also diagnosed with familial adenomatous polyposis— a genetic condition that produces colon polyps that will have to be managed for life.

While her sons, Miguel (20) and Diego (15), continue their studies on a partial and full scholarship, respectively, Peachy has been unable to return to work due to the frequent medical care schedule and consistently high level of pain.

To make ends meet, both sons have ongoing ad-hoc jobs, school "piso" fundraisers, and, since July 2023, a makeshift street cafe selling iced coffee outside their family home— all this in between their academic and religious commitments.

With this new diagnosis, a progressing disease, and a household income that relies solely on the family sari-sari store and her sons' humble efforts, Peachy is grateful for any help that can be extended.

Diego's current goal is to raise enough money for his mom's urgently-needed colonoscopy and an impending liver surgery (estimated ₱150,000), while ensuring continued funds for ongoing medical and laboratory expenses.

Feb - May 2023: 200 Pledges of ₱1,500*

The goal was to raise ₱300,000 from 200 donors who can pledge ₱1,500 each FOR PAZ to fight colon cancer. These 200 pledges of ₱1,500 each will cover Peachy's remaining 7 rounds of treatments and required lab tests.

As of May 16, 2023: Just 9 pledges short of ₱300,000 as a total of ₱286,943 was raised.

As of May 9, 2023: A total of ₱254,000 has been raised, and we're down to just another ₱46,000 to be raised for the final round of chemotherapy; or 31 donors/pledges of ₱1,500.

As of Apr 14, 2023: Just another 67 pledges or ₱99,592 to go!

As of Apr 3, 2023: 130 pledges (or ₱196,158) have been raised and counting down to the last 70 pledges to go!

As of Mar 9, 2023: An equivalent of 126 pledges made or ₱189,658, covering 5 of 7 rounds of chemotherapy. We continue to seek another 74 pledges of ₱1,500 each to reach the remaining ₱110,342.

As of Feb 24, 2023: An equivalent of 87 pledges made or ₱130,955, covering almost 4 of 7 rounds! Just another 113 pledges of ₱1,500 each to reach the remaining ₱169,045.

As of Feb 19, 2023: 75 pledges have been made, totalling ₱113,109; which covers 3 of 7 rounds of chemotherapy. We continue to seek more generous hearts to help Paz with the remaining ₱186,892.

As of Feb 10, 2023: We raised an equivalent of 47 Pledges or ₱71,250 which will cover two rounds this February 2023; and need to raise another ₱228,750.

Of course, every peso counts and any value of pledge will be deeply appreciated.
