UPDATE:

Our Primo have joined the heavens last May 20, 2019. He was indeed a fighter in his 62 days of life. Thank you very much to each and everyone. All donations will go to his remaining hospital bill and interment. God bless us all.

———————————————————-

Primo is now on CPAP machine but on close observation. Still with daily charges/ expenses amounting to 5K/day. We still cannot foresee when we can be able to go home. He is still on fungal medications, blood culture and blood transfusion every now and then. Laboratories and reinsertion of PICC line.

His weight have also decreased thus, nutrition is also not good at the moment.

Still, we are not losing hope

—————————————————-

My grandson, Primo Wyatt R. Guillergan, was born March 19, 2019 at 32 4/7 weeks AOG, weighing 1.7 kilograms, 33- 34 weeks upon assessment. He was born at The Medical City - Iloilo, via Emergency C-Section due to Fetal Bradycardia secondary to Premature Rupture of Membranes.

At birth, he was indeed a strong one with a loud cry. He was observed and stabilized at the NICU, after more than 24 hours, he cannot tolerate oxygen via nasal cannula or CPAP, thus, he was intubated.

For weeks, he was diagnosed with Hyaline Membrane Disease (premature lungs), Neonatal Sepsis, Neonatal Pneumonia, Patent Ductus Arteriosos (PDA), Low Birth Weight, Hypoglycemia, Low Hemoglobin, Fungal Infection, Bradycardia and Apnea. It also became a struggle to insert a peripheral IV line on his veins, thus, a PICC line was done.

Since his birth, his parents are doing everything to sustain his needs, supplies, medications, laboratories, xrays and 2d echos. Bought Survanta 2x, antibiotics, PICC line in cash. Blood transfusion xx and the list goes on.

As of now, he is still intubated, with ongoing Amphotericin medication for his fungal infection, 1 vial worth 14K+ good only for 2days, then a new vial is again needed. Treatment is expected to last for 21days (7 vials x 14K+ = almost 100K) or until his blood culture would be cleared.

My daughter and her husband are already emotionally, physically, mentally tired, exhausted almost 300,000 of savings and help from families. But we know that our Primo is fighting, that is why we have no reason to give up. His daily charges ranges from 5K-10K and our current bill is almost 1M and counting... still, we didn’t know when we can able to bring him home.

As a grandparent, this would be a way for me to help them and my grandchild.

We are doing everything we can, thus, any kind of help is highly appreciated, monetary or not.

PRAYERS ARE A PRIORITY.🙏

Thank you for sparing us your time and may God Bless Us all!
