Campaign Story
My name is Mavelene Lorraine Morales Pasana and I'm writing this in desperate need of your help and generous donation for my Mom's discharge so she can go home.
Last August 18th, my mother, Lorelie Morales Pasana was diagnosed to have an aneurysm after 2-3 days of unexplainable headache and nausea and was advised to undergo brain surgery. The doctors did the Coiling procedure to treat her Aneurysm.
After her surgery we all thought she'll be okay and she's just for recovery period since her crucial 24 hours period were okay. However, on Aug 27th she doesn't remember us, her family and even herself, she can't speak and is only responsive to pain. Doctors recommended to have an MRI and CT scan to investigate.
- MRI scan result: multiple strokes that touches the vessels and causes blockage.
- CT Scan Result: small bleeding that cause blockage of the water flow in her brain.
August 28th - Doctors did a Lumbar Drain for the excess fluid in her brain. The procedure was a success, her verbal response is at 50% but the doctors advise for a few days observation.
This is where we need your help because as common practice by the majority of health insurances, it will not be covered by my health card provider, as such, the cost of the operation, post operation medicine and other important hospital expenses will need to be paid through our own means.
My mother just started teaching again last August 5 after being out of work since 2018 due to an unrelated health condition which she slowly recovered from before getting sick again with an aneurysm. She has been a college professor since 1996 teaching Mathematics and Physics for the Central Colleges of the Philippines and FEU-Diliman.
As she was out of work for a long time, she did not have the funds for this operation and for her discharged fees. My sister and I had just started working as well and we are supporting our youngest sister who is currently in college plus we are in charge of our everyday expenses. That is the reason why we are reaching out in the hopes of getting some financial assistance as this event will definitely and easily dry up our already dried up financial resources.
Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and donations. It means a lot to our family during this difficult time. May the Good Lord bless us all.

Lai, We will keep praying for your recovery. God is our greatest Physician. "Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." ~ Isaiah 53:4-5 "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD" ~ Jeremiah 30:17 Mga anak let’s keep holding on to God’s promises.
