Campaign Story
Last 7 July, our father, 78-year-old Oscar Alina was rushed to the hospital (Parañaque Doctors) as he was found lying on his bed coughing up mucus (with blood). At the hospital, the doctors informed us that our father is suffering from pneumonia and a swollen lung. Nurses had to suck out mucus as he could no longer do it by himself. On 9 July, while in the hospital and still unstable, he suffered his very first heart attack and had to be transferred to the ICU. He has now been transferred and confined at Unihealth Hospital Parañaque ICU since Monday night (10 July), where he is currently being monitored and placed on a ventilator to assist him with his breathing. His condition is slowly progressing but is still unstable and would require further stay in the ICU as per the doctor's instructions.
With this, our family humbly reaches out to you for any help that you could share. We are hoping to raise funds to assist with the cost of medical bills acquired during his stay in the ICU (70-80k/day) and any recurring medical expenses for his treatment. Considering his age (plus his current battle with Mixed Dementia and Parkinson'), we anticipate medical bills to continue. All funds donated via this GoGetFunding page will go directly to cover the cost of all medical bills. However, you may opt to directly deposit it to the bank account details provided below:

We thank you in advance for your kind generosity. May God bless your good heart.

Update posted by Raymond Alina at 12:46 amOur father’s condition is slowly progressing but we are seeing positive results. As of today, he is no longer 100% dependent on the ventilator and has now gradually stepped down to 40%. His BP has so far been stable since yesterday. Thankfully as well, his kidneys (and other organs) are. . . . .
