For our Che-Che

The final diagnosis of our sister, RICHEE CABRERA RODRIGUEZ, has been released yesterday, January 13, 2021. We were all praying for good news, but sadly we received a devastating update that her lung cancer has progressed to STAGE 4 (ADENOCARCINOMA) and metastasized affecting her brain and spine.

With her current condition, she needs to receive Palliative Care and Therapy for her severe pains and symptoms management and is scheduled to undergo Radio Therapy as treatment of her Lumbar Spine Compression and brain tumor. We are also waiting for the EGFR Test results so that she can already start with her Oral Targeted Chemotherapy.

We are doing everything to support all her medical needs as she is a mother of four and her husband is unemployed due to his disability (he had Brain Aneurysm three years ago). It was very difficult for them to make both ends meet even before these trying times. I know life has been hard and we are all going through this pandemic, but I am personally knocking on your hearts for whatever form of help you can extend to Che.

She has been admitted at Philippine General Hospital since December 24, 2020 and her hospitalization expenses are already accumulating. It is still a long way to go to sustain her medical treatments.

A little help will mean a lot to Che and to her family. If we could at least alleviate her sufferings and extend her life, there could be hope that she would be able to see her children grow especially her youngest girl who is only two years old.
