For our baby Dasha

Dasha Maize Mulet Samson Lasala was born on Aug 24, 2020 with Esophageal Atresia Type C, a rare birth defect where her esophagus is not connected to her stomach. Although rare, what she have is the most common type. A week after she was born, She have undergone a major surgery to repair the defect. Few days post-surgery, the doctors discovered that she have an infection outside her lungs. The doctors suspect that there may be a leak in the tube that was inserted. And sadly, She have to undergo another surgery as soon as possible so the doctors can fix it.

Given her condition, the hospital bills (expected /unexpected) are also piling up, including her medications and laboratory exams. We can no longer keep up with the expenses. 😔
