For My Mom

In these moments Venezuela is going through one of the worst crises in the world thanks to the bad policies of our governments. There are neither medicines nor medical supplies to solve health problems. The salary we receive almost gives us just to eat and is no enough to cover extra expenses. Most things must be imported and currently the Venezuela´s wage is approximately $ 5 a month. Today my family is obliged to ask for help, because we do not have enough money to cover the expenses for the surgery of my mother IRMA BEATRIZ HERNANDEZ DE MARTINEZ, and the life insurance that we hire does not even cover the medical fees due to the high inflation that exists in Venezuela.

My mom suffers from C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 DEGENERATIVE DISCOPATHY, CIFOTIC CERVICAL ATTITUDE, MULTILEVEL SEGMENTARY INSTABILITY presented by my mother IRMA BEATRIZ HERNANDEZ DE MARTINEZ, this condition causes severe head and back pain that limits some of her movements. Without the proper surgery her condition could derive in severe restrictions in sensor and motor functions, and in extreme cases, it could end up in a quadriplegic state, which was the case of my grandmother. To solve this situation it's necessary to perform an urgent surgical intervention consisting in a C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 disectomy, plus the placement of four (04) FIDJI intersomatic spacers, under the ACIF technique, in order to decompress the spinal cord and prevent irriversible damages.

En estos momentos, Venezuela atraviesa una de las peores crisis del mundo gracias a las malas políticas de nuestros gobiernos. No hay medicinas ni suministros médicos para resolver problemas de salud. El salario que recibimos casi nos da solo para comer y no es suficiente para cubrir gastos adicionales. La mayoría de las cosas deben importarse y actualmente el salario de Venezuela es de aproximadamente $ 5 por mes. Hoy mi familia está obligada a pedir ayuda, porque no tenemos suficiente dinero para cubrir los gastos de la operación de mi madre IRMA BEATRIZ HERNANDEZ DE MARTINEZ, y el seguro de vida que contratamos ni siquiera cubre los honorarios médicos debido a la alta inflación que existe en Venezuela.

Mi madre sufre una DISCAPACIDAD DEGENERATIVA C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 y C6-C7, ACTITUD CERVICAL CIFÓTICA, INESTABILIDAD DE SEGMENTACIÓN MÚLTIPLE presentado por mi madre IRMA BEATRIZ HERNANDEZ DE MARTINEZ, esta condición causa severos dolores de cabeza y espalda que limitan algunos de sus movimientos. Sin la cirugía adecuada, su condición podría derivar en severas restricciones en las funciones sensoriales y motoras, y en casos extremos, podría terminar en un estado tetrapléjico, como fue el caso de mi abuela. Para resolver esta situación, es necesario realizar una intervención quirúrgica urgente que consista en una disectomía C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 y C6-C7, más la colocación de cuatro (04) espaciadores intersomáticos FIDJI, según la técnica ACIF, es para descomprimir la médula espinal y prevenir daños irreversibles.
