PLEASE HELP… For Our Dear Mama Cita AFTER LUNG OPERATION BIOPSY’s RESULT STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER METASTATIC

Hello everyone!

For the past few weeks, it has been a great struggle and painfully heartbreaking for me & my family as our 75-year old mother, Carmencita Lawas, was brought to the hospital. She has been diagnosed with the ff: Pneumonia High Risk with Hypoxia, Pneumohydrothorax at Left & Pleural Effusion at Right.

As of right now, we had to urgently bring her to a public hospital here in Manila because we have been referred to a thoracic specialist. Upon intensive check up, the doctor found out that her left lung is already covered with so much pus that it can't fully function & expand thus making Mama hard to breathe. An immediate surgery to clean her left lung is much-needed. On top of all of these, as most of you may know, Mama has already suffered from a few episodes of stroke and her right lung was already drained when she got hospitalized in Butuan before coming here in Manila.

My brothers and I have already exhausted all our finances through all this journey. We have tried several avenues (borrowed, asked & applied for loans/gov't fundings) just to get by in the daily financial needs for our Mama's current hospitalization. But with all these daily medications plus the upcoming operation needed, bills are just piling up everyday. My family & I have reached to the point that we don't even have any in our pockets too.

In this regard, on behalf of Mama & my brothers, I am humbly knocking on your kind hearts to help us in however much financial support that you can. No peso or amount is too small. Anything & everything count. My family & I will be forever & sincerely grateful with whatever you can share to our family.
