Hello my name is Grace..im knocking on everyone's heart and asking for help..right now my Papa(Tatay)needs medical assistance..current situation force me to try gofund me because of the present situation of my country.

Last March 26, 2020 i rushed him to the hospital because of shortness of breath..We went to different goverment hospitals but every hospital rejected us because they are suspecting that my father is a covid positive patient..past 6:30pm Philippine time a private hospital nearby accepted us without hesitation..
The Emergency room nurses and doctors assist us and check on my father's condition they collect blood from him, xray and CT scan and the results shows that my father is suffering from

1. Acute subendocardial myocardial infarction,
2. Acute ischaemic heart disease
3. Iron deficiency anemia
4. Hypertensive heart disease congestive heart failure.
5. Gastrointestinal bleeding
6. Pneumonia(Aspiration)

The sad part is he is classified as Person Under Investigation because of his age he' s 67 years old with chronic cough maybe because of aspiration pneumonia and he has fever because of high blood pressure..

The doctors told me he needs to be admitted in the isolation room of ICU..with no visitors allowed..until the result of his swab test..

March 28, 2020 my fathers hospital bill amount is 345,400 pesos..the billing department told me that they already close the account and we need to pay atleast 50,000 but this time we have no money zero..because of the month long quarantine here in our country..they suggest that we need to pay for his things and his medicines in cash..

There comes a time that the pharmacy charge us without giving the medicine to my father..I asked them personally to give my father his medicine while I search for help for financial assistance from friends luckily I still have friends that I count on and I thanked them so much for helping me..

On April 1 my fathers cardiologist ask me what shall I do in case my father went on another cardiac arrest because of increase heart rate increase blood pressure and low supply of oxygen Im literally speechless then I remember my childhood even if Im a hard headed daughter my father never gave up on me..
I told his cardiologist to do the CPR and please resuscitate my father..I never cried this hard and pray to the heavens above to spare my Papa..(actually while Im typing this it still hurts a lot knowing that my father has 50-50 chance of surviving)...late afternoon on April 1 I personally asked the ICU nurse if i could see him even if there's a glass window and told the nurse to tell my Papa that Im watching him..my Papa's response was lifting his legs high(thats our form of communication because of his Parkinson's disease and mild stroke wayback 2014)..This time I know in my heart that he's strong as a horse..He's fighting..

April 2, 2020 the result of his swab test are in
Im literally shouting thanking God for a negative result..

April 3, 2020 I finally had the oppurtunity to enter the isolation room but with the PPE's on..I hug him and talk to him to fight and dont let this illness stop him from fighting..I know he can do it..late afternoon the doctors gave orders to transfer my Papa to a regular ICU room..the doctors even told me that my father is already in a stable condition..

April 8, 2020 they had him transferred to a regular room but still with oxygen because he's oxygen in the body is not normal..complete medicine of course with the help of friends..

Then, this part came in..

April 13, 2020 the doctors gave him the go signal to go home..finally for discharge..but our hospital bill went from 345,400 pesos to 715,800 pesos..
The hospital management have this NO PROMISORRY note policy..but what shall I do..I really dont have this amount of money..but given the scary and not safe condition of hospitals nowadays because of the pandemic I insist to the management to allow my father to leave and go home but still the answer is NO they told me with a laughing tone TO MAKE WAY TO PAY FOR YOUR HOSPITAL DUES..
My heart and mind is crying my father dont deserve this treatment from the hospital management..

April 17 to April 18 we consult a lawyer friend on what shall we do regarding this matter she gave me this idea about Republic Act on detaining patient without the capacity to pay in full..

Atlast the management allows us to go home because of Promisorry note..

To cut the story,, we have a hospital due amounting (to) 200,000 pesos from 715,800 because less senior citizen, less philhealth, less donation from my father's former client being a Certified Public Accountant, less guarantee letter from PCSO and DSWD..

I still have until May 30, 2020 to pay for the amount due..

I know in God's grace and mercy we will all be blessed..

Thank you very much and Godbless us all..
