Campaign Story
Hi, I am Maris Lapidez. I am starting this fund raising campaign for my father, Dan F. Lapidez.
My father works as school teacher in Parañaque National High School - Don Bosco and a part time professor in Arellano University and Philippine State College of Aeronautics. Inspite of having many jobs, we live in poverty due to many unwanted and unexpected circumstances that happened in the past.
A few years ago, my father started having chest pains which he thought was just a simple acid reflux. He did not bother to have a check up just to save money and not add up to our expenses.
My father, a very hard working teacher and a good provider for our family, just had a heart attack last Monday night, November 20 of 2017.
He was brought to the emergency room of the nearest hospital from our house and was declared dead on arrival at 1am. With the help of God and the persistence of the doctors, my father was revived in almost an hour. He had multiple seizures after that and the doctors found out that he had several blood clots in his heart. On the next day he had a heart surgery, four arteries were found to have blood clots which were all removed by the doctors. He is now in th ICU and all vital signs are stable.
Without medical insurance and savings, we are left with no other options but to ask for financial help from families and friends in these painful times to cover his medical needs.
Thank you for your generous donations and prayers.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, fo God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7
Sincerely,
Maris Lapidez
