For Mang Boy..My Pillar of strenght..

Hello! I am Jem Famorcan and I am here on behalf of my father (Rodolfo L. Famorcan) to humbly ask for your support.

It was 8 years ago when we learned about his illness, at first, he was diagnosed to have a stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). He has been battling with this illness since then.. In those 8 years, he has been hospitalized countless times due to some complications (e.g. Hypertension, low/high sodium, high protein, etc..) Aside from this, he’s also been taking a lot of medicines as his maintenance. As his only child. I am trying my best to support him in all possible ways I can to the point of almost losing our house, and unpaid bank debts just to ensure that I will be able to provide my father’s medical needs.

Just this May, he underwent a procedure (Excision of the pseudoaneurysm) as the AVF inserted to his left arm last April got infected and they had to removed it. Unfortunately, it recurred again after a few weeks. Yesterday night, 19 June, he underwent an emergency operation (same procedure) due to a recurring pseudoaneurysm. The surgeon found a big lump in his arms (see attached photo) and they had to remove it from him. It was then endorsed to an Infectious Disease Specialist for biopsy/assessment. His surgeon mentioned to me that Papa’s case is a rare one and needs extra attention. . THANK GOD the operation went well. He is still currently confined at the hospital recuperating and waiting for blood transfusion.

I am very grateful that the company I am working for has an HMO benefit that covers most of his hospitalization needs. Unfortunately, given his multiple hospital confinements this year, he already maxed out his benefit limit thus, we have no other choice but to shoulder all the cost. Given this, I humbly ask for your kind heart for any assistance that you can give us. At the moment, his bill is already at 59K and this will increase in the coming days as he still need to undergo several lab tests.
