For Justin Miguel

The boy in the picture is Justin Miguel. He is a thirteen year old kid who loves to play online games just like kids now a days. But he loves to play basketball and be outside riding his bicycle. His a very smart kid who always on top of his class. At a very young age he is goal oriented and a lot of potential to pursue better life in the future. He is a loving brother and a loving son. He is an obedient kid. Loves to smile.

But we are now missing Justin. A tragic accident happened last March 19, Monday morning and its a school day. While he is crossing the street a fast speeding motorcycle hit him resulting him to flew meters away and acquire a very serious head injury. He was rushed to Premiere Hospital Cabanatuan City. He needed a Cranial surgery head on. Justin is a fighter and he did surpass the surgery. Justin cant speak and move his right side of his body. His left side though can move but still weak and needed assistance for all the things he needed. An NGT was also attached to him to help him feed. March 30 he needed another cranial surgery due to another internal bleeding. He stay at the ICU since the surgeries for better monitoring of his condition.

April 27 another surgery is needed for Justin. A shunt surgery to attached a shunt device to the brains’s ventricles to divert fluids away from the brain and restore normal flow and absorption of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain.

May 9 came it was a good day, doctors allowed him to go home and had a therapy as well. The NGT is still attached to him. Therapy had help him and has better responses. As days goes by Justin is making progress until we heard him making noises. We then check and observe him and discover that his in pain, a stomach pain. We then rushed him back to the hospital (May 14, 2018). Upon checking the stomach pain is due to no bowel movement and more complication arises. He has a water on his lungs thats needs to be drained.

June 8 he was allowed again to go home but come June 28 he was rushed back again to the hospital due to fever. He was given series of antibiotics. Further analysis was made and Justin needed a shunt revision (to be schedule).

Our friends and family have been supportive in what were going through, what Justin is going through. Justin on the other hand was able to complete his grade 8 at Muñoz National High School. All his accomplishment this school year 2017 was considered and was enough for him to pass Grade 8.

We are now knocking on your kind hearts to pledge for Justin’s hospital bills. We have reached out to PCSO and DSWD and was able to gave us 50k and 5k respectively. Justin hospital bill are now amounting to more than 2M and with another surgery our finances is already depleted.

1. 1st hospital bill (March 19 to May 9, 2018) was almost 500k doctor’s fee not yet included.

• 2 Cranial surgery doctor’s fee - 500k
• Shunt surgery doctor’s fee - 120K
• Shunt device - 70K
• other doctor’s fee - 200K
• Anesthesiology - 90K
• Antibiotics and other medicines - 400K

1. 2nd hospital bill (May 14 to June 8, 2018) was 200K, doctor’s fee not yet included

• Doctor’s fee - 100K
• Antibiotic and Other medicines - 30K

1. 3rd hospital bill (June 28 up to present) is now amounting to 90K and running

• shunt surgery with doctor’s fee- 200K
• Medicines - 30k and running

We would like to raise funds that will at least make up for the next surgery and healing costs. We have not yet set a deadline for contributions. We are not aiming to cover all of it, but if your generosity will allow us to do so and we go over the amount, that will be more than welcome.
