For Joanns cancer treatment/surgery

   Joann is a 45 year old mother, wife and grandmother. She works hard at a laundromat to make ends meet. Last month she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, she has no medical coverage and a very limited income barely making the bills. She has tried applying for medicaid and was denied! Shes struggling to cover her rent and cant afford her treatment or the $1500 surgery needed to remove her thyroid and keep the cancer from spreading further.
