Hi, i am fundraising in aid of my dear cousin Emma and her children. Emma is 34years old single mum who lives in Hatfield with 3 great kids and two beautiful girls that are sadly in heaven. Emma has had quite a few major devastating events happen through her life.. but despite getting through every one of them, more followed.. One night a few months ago now Emma had to go into hospital as she felt very poorly, tests/scans were done and she was eventually diagnosed with a rare form of Bladder Cancer. Advanced enough the doctors had to remove her bladder and womb.. Now at just 34 she has to live with a stoma. Doctor was quite sure he removed all cancer. Eventually Emma went back home.. but thinking she was on the road to recovery she started having bad pains a few weeks ago, she could hardly walk but headed to the gp where she was put on anti-biotics for an infection.. not helping after a few days she returned the gp arranged for her to go to hospital for a scan as he feared it could be something to do with the cancer she had.. Scan was done and for two weeks Emma had to wait for the results.. not good news she now has been diagnosed with an uncurable vaginal cancer and was told less than 1year to live. I spoke with Emma tonight and i asked her if and what she would like to do and she said she would like a holiday. Unfortunatly i cannot afford to arrange this by myself, So here i am telling her story and asking for help to make her wish come true and raise enough money for emma and her mum to take the children on a holiday so emma can spend some quality time with her kids and giving them a few more great memories. Thank you..
Now Emma has sadly passed money raised will also be used to help fund her funeral as the costs are so steep.. and then once the funeral has passed emmas mum will use the rest of the donations to put towards a little holiday in the summer with emmas children to celebrate and remember emma as she watches over them happily enjoying their time on a warm sunny beach making her sandcastles.. so thank you greatly for your donations xx
