FAITH IT TILL YOU MAKE IT…
My father Segundo Delfin Sayo famous as "Doy is a hard worker and good provider. Aside from helping my family, he does his best to give back to others whenever possible. My family and I were very happy about his upcoming retirement set for June 15 of this year. We were looking forward to his well-deserved retirement, which meant to be spent enjoying time with his family when he began having problems with his health.
Not long ago he was complaining about stomach pain. We rushed him to Manila Doctors Hospital. Initially we were not concerned about paying for any treatment because I have health insurance through my employer. However, I was told they would not cover anything due his kidney issues. My Tatay (means father in Filipino language) has been on dialysis for more than a year now. Due to complication from dialysis, he has been in much more pain than usual. The doctors are still unsure about the cause of his condition.
His stomach was so bloated that the doctors had to perform paracentesis to remove the water for examination. He also had angioplasty on May 22nd of this year. Additionally, he has had a CT scan, ultrasound, and other diagnostic tests to determine what is wrong. He is currently doing dialysis 3 times per week.
His stomach pains have caused him to not eat much, and he has lost a significant amount of weight since he was rushed to the emergency room on May 12th of this year.
Our running bill to date is already P800,000. We are doing everything we can to sustain his medical expenses, but the hospital management told us they will stop my Tatay’s treatment unless we pay half of the bill. I'm pleading and asking for any help that we can get to extend the life of my Tatay. Please help us to make it happen. Thank you for being so gracious and taking the time to read.
We will be forever grateful for all your help and prayers.
