For Dayrexport’s efforts

Hey guys,

If you know anything about the micro-blogging app, Dayre, you would know that it is soon to be shut down on 28 Feb 2018. This would mean that the posts on that app would be gone forever.

That is why a kind soul, who would like to remain anonymous, has spent the past few weeks coming up with an exporter (https://dayxport.fun/) to help with the exporting of Dayre posts to Wordpress.

I have found out (by accident) that it costs S$40 to keep this server running for a month (it was actually $20, but it had to be upgraded due to the load it was taking haha!) and if possible, I would like to raise that amount as a show of gratitude and appreciation for this kind individual's continued hard work and efforts!

At the moment, this exporter will only run for a month (as per a plan basis) since Dayre has been said to close on 28 Feb.

I wanted to put the goal amount to be S$40 only, but it is gogetfunding's rule to have S$250 as the minimum amount, so kindly ignore that stated value and feel free to donate ANY AMOUNT you wish. No amount is too little!

Any amount above the server fee of S$40 will go towards rewarding this kind soul for his/her efforts :)

I will update the page with as much proof as I can (without revealing the identity of this anonymous person), that the funds have reached him/her. I definitely will not be taking any of the funds raised as well.
