This is a story about a girl named Cassandra. Since she was born, she frequently had respiratory infections that affected her ears. She also has strabismus (wall-eye) and low vision. Doctors found out that her uterus and kidneys are not normal. Her body is not developing well and she is short compared to other girls her age. These are all because of her condition called Turner Syndrome. Turner syndrome, which affects only females, can cause a variety of medical and developmental problems. Girls and women with Turner syndrome need ongoing medical care from a variety of specialists. Regular checkups and appropriate care can help most girls and women lead healthy, independent lives. This is why we are here to ask for any amount you can give. Your act of kindness will surely leave a big impact on this little girl's life.
