My father in law, DANILO BONO SIROY, was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in June 2018. He underwent treatment to slowdown the spread of cancer in his body. However, health complications started to arise since he is also diabetic and about five years ago, he was suppose to undergo angioplasty due to a blockage found in the chamber of his heart, but he refused the procedure.

Last March 2019, my father in law would complain about difficulty in breathing. He was treated with antibiotics however to no avail. He was found to have fluid in his right lung and was suggested to have Thoracentesis (a procedure to remove fluid from the space between the lining of the outside of the lungs (pleura) and the wall of the chest).
Came April 4, he turned really pale and his son (my husband) rushed him to the hospital. Emergency medicines and oxygen supply was indicated and was relieved for a while. He was scheduled for Thoracentesis the next day.
April 5, 2019 9am Papa had cardiac arrest. He totally flatlined and for about 30 minutes, the doctors has been trying to revive him and thankfully they were able to get a pulse. Papa has been revived, intubated, and brought to the ICU.
With diagnoses: Community Acquired Pneumonia; Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease; Hypertensive Cardiovascular disease; Prostate CA Stage 4 and Pleural effusion, Papa has been in the ICU for 2 weeks now still intubated and attached to a ventilator, with chest tube to drain fluid or blood from the space surrounding his lungs due to pulmonary edema, and is being treated with dialysis everyday because of kidney failure and possible sepsis, Papa still fights! He still fights to live. He wants to live in order to see his first grandson whom I carry.
So I created this account with the intention that our current situation may touch your generous hearts and help us financially with the hospital bills, treatment and diagnostic fees, and medicines.
Our hospital bill has now reached half a million pesos and truly we have no idea where or how to produce this kind of amount. We are only hoping and praying that even in the least of possible ways, we can be assisted. And of course your prayers are as equally important.
