My name is Vincent. O. Godwin, I am a self-taught Barber and a visionary.
I started cutting hair as a hobby and I grew to love the art of making people look their best. the reason I started cutting was the fact that I was not happy with how my previous barber had cut my hair, and I thought to myself, " What if I could give people a better service?"
I have been doing house service and now I would like to have my own barbershop.
The benefactors of this fund will be me and my clients, both current and future. My focus is to change the way people look at the barbing industry in Africa, that it is an artwork and not just a weekly chore/ activity. I envision a generation of men who take pride in the way they look, regardless of who they are and where they come from or even their status in society.
The funds will be used to buy barbershop furniture and equipment, mani-pedi equipment for the grooming treatments. The name Vintage_Cutz_ is an epitome of the type of environment I want to have in my Barbershop. I would like to have a Vintage looking Barbershop where my clients will get the old fashioned "barbershop" service and feeling, where the Barbershop is a sacred place for people to detach from the rest of the world and unwind for the duration of the service.
I would like to be fully funded by February 2021. This has been a vision of mine for 3 years now and the only thing holding me back is the lack of funding. This support would mean a lot for me and my family as I had relocated from Nigeria to seek better opportunities in South Africa, yet have not succeeded in making my dream come true. Therefore this funding would be heavily appreciated and will literally mean the world to me as I found this opportunity at a point where I had almost given up.
