Campaign Story
Our Baby was born between 35-36 weeks last November 2, 2022, through an emergency C-Section. He was brought to the NICU due to his size, weight, and underdeveloped lungs. We were informed that he had a damaged placenta which caused the conditions.
He is currently connected to a ventilator and is being assisted by oxygen to help his lungs develop. Due to his size, he is not allowed to take milk yet and just has an IV connected to him. His blood sugar has been spiking below normal as well. Antibiotics and necessary lab tests are being done as needed.
His current bill estimates around 90-110K per day in the NICU, excluding the Professional Fees of his doctors.
Eggie, our baby's nickname, is our Rainbow Baby. We lost our firstborn last year through a stillbirth. We are trying to help Eggie get a fighting chance and for us to have this second, and maybe our last, opportunity to have a baby. We were told that it is no longer recommended for us to have another baby after Eggie due to our history.
Thank you so much! God bless! May God give it back to you a hundred folds.
