Campaign Story
Statement of Need
Amathole Basin in Middledrift is faced with social ills of poverty, substance abuse and crime. Therefore we have taken it all up to us to start a football club as a way of keeping the youth busy and away from these ills. T.M united FC therefore will help the Youth improve their football skills and keep them busy more especially during school holidays.
Program description
T.M United Football club will enable the youth to improve their football skills and to decrease the rate of substance abuse and crime through sport. The club is for both boys and girls of the ages 10 and 30 years. The main aim for this is to help rehabilitate the ones already using these substances and to help the ones who are still clean to stay that way.
Goals and Objectives
The organisation’s main objectives are to:
•To gather the Youth and keep away from Substance Abuse and Crime
•To build fundamental skills of football and instil love of the game
•Promote sport to the Youth
•Develop the Youth to play football at the highest level
•Maintain the dignity and importance of football
