Foodlab Indonesia has been working with Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy since 2016 on a platform that connects micro, small, medium enterprises to financial access in food industry.
As one of the challenges they faced is funding, we would like to expand the financial ecosystem a little bigger. We have networks of angel of investors, fin-tech, bankings, but we believed in a power of community.
There is a gap, where we see the formal funding instruments cannot fill the need of fund in early stage. Especially in ideation stage / business restructuring. Where usually formal funding instruments avoid this risk.
Help is a help, in any form. So, crowdfunding is one of the key we can explore to help these people in need.
All they need is a helping hand to let them moving forward.
