Hello friends my name Is Robert Musinguzi a teacher and also an Envergelist working at at Wanyange child support foundation ministry our website is www.wcsfm.org our pagehttps://web.facebook.com/childsupportjinja2215. Apart from being caught unprepared and most Christians are unable to help at the same time and few weeks even before this DANGEROUS disease COVID19 attacked the world ,We were alarmed by the UN official about the invasion of desert locusts in our country uganda this the link: https://qz.com/africa/1836159/locusts-set-to-hit-kenya-east-africa-again-400-times-stronger/amp/?fbclid=IwAR2Q6lCPNLzwP8AFuh49XPSMvjeBBDSrDOXBm3IY4EUnXONoc4Dgpq9uenA This wave is expected to destroy every single plant in the region this will make food prices to go high rocket in few days from now we may not be able to provide help to the poor and un privileged girls and the children under our Ministry unless something is done immediately. We have discussed and prayed about this idea we need around $3500 for food water and soap plus sernitizers.to keep clean during this rock down, On 31 March 2020, the Government of Uganda instituted severe restrictions to avoid the spread of the deadly and highly contagious COVID 19. The official lock down directives closed all markets in the nation to those who do not sell food items; and suspended all forms of private and public transportation . These measures have had an immediate and severe impact on the the poor people government of Uganda is trying to distribute food items but the population is big and not enough to support organisations and all the communities.
At the moment we have some children having challenges of having one meal per day we reached down to the government officials no positive response then since we are not allowed to move..The kind donation given will help us throuth this trying moments.
We ask everyone of good heart to consider acting now to help us feed and treat the children throughout this time.we are in fear family
God bless you for supporting and please keep us in your prayers.
