US$320.00raised of $4,500.00 goal goal
Campaign Story
During these challenging times Lebanon is facing, the financial crisis left many unable to support themselves and their families' basic needs, including the most vulnerable from kids to elderlies.
Our initiative aims to provide the community with the initial capital required to start a self sustaining operation that leads to sustainable, and durable {operation} to supply those in need, with their daily nourishment.
The capital will be spent on the necessary tools, seeds, and equipment needed to grow the crops. The harvest will be distributed to the local community around the identified farmland.
To date, we have been able to secure 3,600 sqm of farmland, the land was provided by Beit Maroun's Monastery, located in Majdaloun - Baalbeck. The harvest from the land is enough to feed 150 individuals annually.
Setting up this land, will require c.US$ 4,500. Moreover, the monastery has access to additional lands allowing us to extend this project moving forward given additional funds are secured, thus enabling us to help more families in distress.
We only have each other to endure the troubling times ahead, and for this we ask your support, no matter how big or small, every contribution matters.
