Food Security from Vets to Civilians

Food Security from Vets to Civilians is a project working to establish The New Hacienda (Ranch) on a 168 acres land in La Parguera,Lajas PR. This organization is run by an Iraq Veteran of the ARMY that aims to provide foods such as pork meat, sheep, goats, beef cattle and rabbit meat, plus a variety of vegetables to the island of especially western area. This campaign is to raise the money needed to pay for County Taxes and insurance expenses to start the construction, we already have the permits and endorsements that we need to start the project. Since the island imports the 90% of the food that consume is important for us to take care of our people, and in case of any natural emergency we would provide food for the people. While promoting agriculture and creating jobs in the area to help the country's economy, which have been in a recession for the last few years.
