Food Relief, for the disabled

For many food is hard to come by ...

Our area now has up to 85% unemployment - even before Covid 19, it was very high. But many people found jobs on the citrus plantations as day labourers and lived from "today to tomorrow"! But for 5 weeks there has been no "tomorrow" possible and "the day after tomorrow" is also not in sight!!

No wages - means no food ...so simple is this! The families of the “Lusito Disabled Centre” are on the brink of despair. What's next? Where do they get food - when nobody is allowed to work

We know that donations will not be possible for everyone at the moment, but we want to support the disabled people as much as possible especially as South Africa is only at the beginning of their pandemic.

We have set up a website for the project and the food packages on a donation platform called “WhyDonate” and hope for your support too!! Every little bit helps!

We will stand firm together and look forward to continuing to do so with your help!
