Lungako Magida Foundation seeks your assistance in raising funds to disburse food parcels to highly disadvantaged families who currently have no income due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
- While our government has tried to assist with food parcels, cash vouchers, etc, unfortunately not everyone could benefit and some relief only lasted for a very short while, and due to prolonged Covid restrictions, many people are still not back on their feet (especially in sectors like events which contribute to catering, decor, etc) and still can not provide basics like food to their families. We urge you to help us lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate by donating any amount to help us get them food parcels.
LM Foundation has run an array of philanthropic initiatives which include the Ms Tertiary South Africa pageant (@MsTertiarySA on Instagram) that disburses scholarships to the pageant winners. The work done by Lungako Magida Foundation has been recognized by the Gauteng Provincial Legislature and a Young Philanthropist Award was awarded by the government entity to our founder, Ms Lungako Magida in 2019.
We understand that this pandemic has affected everyone globally in many ways and anything that you can assist with will be immensely appreciated and contribute to the goal of ensuring that no one goes to bed on an empty stomach and no child is bullied at school because of not having school shoes. We have a township community forum in Johannesburg that has approached us for assistance and their leaders will assist with identifying community members that as most vulnerable and need help the most.
We wish you safety, good health and the very best for 2021. Thank you so much for your contribution, please kindly share our fundraising initiative with your contacts.
