I am Chef Mario Johnson from St. Louis, MO. I currently reside in my opinion "the best" food town in the world Chicago, IL where I have furthered my culinary experience. I am currently transitioning from working in kitchens to venturing out on my own, by opening a storefront cafe and creating a cookbook to not only entertain but educate at the same time. With your help I can lease a space to open up operations, where I will serve the public and use a percentage of the profits to feed and educate the less fortunate ie. homeless, low-income, less educated etc. I know my cause might not seem as important as others you might come across but rest assured this will help communities for years to come. We are hoping to reach our goal within the first week of March so we can get started before Lent is over since this is a real special time for God's children.
