Hello.

This fund-raiser is specifically for 100+ caddies that work at a club called Golf du Soleil in Agadir, Morocco. I have been visiting Agadir for 12 years, to play golf there, but mainly because I have become best friends with the first caddy I had at this course, a man called Jamal. I have become friends with his family, his children treat me like an uncle, we go to the beach sometimes, an have ice-cream afterwards. They are lovely people in Morocco, very warm and friendly, yet they are so poor.

The caddies at the gold club normally work and only earn money from the players, but their season is very short, from October to April, then it goes quiet. With the virus hitting flights into Morocco, and with golf course closed, the caddies' families are now struggling to put food on the table. I personally support Jamal and his family presently, and have already raised £1300 through my friends and network locally.

I am a Christian, and my Moroccan friends are Muslim, but we all love the one creator God, we share a faith in Him, so I am hoping both Christians and Muslims in the UK and elsewhere will be willing to help, to glorify God, as everything on the planet is His, and He likes us to help the poor.

If we can raise the target amount, it will be split down into £100 blocks to help 30 families. The more we can raise, the more families we can help. The tourists won't be back in Morocco until September, so things are really tough now for these families.

I have attached some photos of a few of the caddies already helped.

Thanks for your time and (I hope) for your support too.
