Food for an engineering student

Hello, I'm a maritime engineering student living in Venezuela whose dream is to graduate as soon as possible and find better opportunities abroad once I graduate but during the last year I've been struggling with some complicated issues related to the political and economic crisis in my home country. I now face the ultimate challenge for my career and well-being; lack of food.

Food shortages are part of my life as it is for most students living in Venezuela. The lack of food has been deteriorating my academic performance and will to keep moving forward, although I'd like to think of myself as resilient the truth is that I'm getting exhausted considerably quick due to the burden of not having enough nourishment and basic supplies while I'm trying to excel academically, I don't know for how long I'll be able to endure while another semester is coming up, the odds aren't quite hopeful since my major takes most of my time and energy. I'm being supported by my aunt and parents for now but I'm not sure for how long they'd be able to, I know I don't have the time nor qualification to find a profitable job yet but I refuse to be another burden for my family, therefore I decided to ask for help before things get out of my control.

My plan is to buy and save as much food as possible (nonperishable and canned mostly due to the national blackouts that I'm anticipating) before the semester begins so I can focus a hundred percent on my studies and withstand what is probably going to be the worst end of the year until now. I will be eternally grateful if you could donate to my cause no matter the amount.
