Food & Coats for the Homeless

Have you ever watched a person rummaging through the garbage to get something to eat.  It is so sad and is happening more and more every day.   So for the past 6+ months, I have been buying "extra value meals" for the homeless in Stanislaus Cunty.  I even purchase small bags of dog food for their loyal companions.  I try to reach as many as I can every other week.  I started with 20 meals and now I am up to 35 meals and counting.  THe cost of each meal is approimately $4.89.  It has become an expensive but fulfilling project and so many people are depending on me, I would hate to stop now.  I am asking all of you to please partner with me.  Any amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Also, for the next few weeks, I will be concentrating on purchasing coats and daily necessities such as tooth brushes, toothpaste, socks, gloves, etc. for distribution before the holidays.  Please join me and let's make Christmas a little more special for those less fortunate in our community.  Photos and receipts of everything purchased using these funds wqill be made available.
