Food Bags, Saves Families in Bagbag Cemetery

COVID-19 has challenged us in so many ways to a different level. All are trying their best to stay healthy and keep safe but not all of us is capable or can afford of everything.

Through different platforms, we have seen homeless people and families struggling for food due to the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) -- people are panick buying to no more money to spend.

After more than a week of ECQ implementation due to the danger of COVID-19 pandemic, many Filipinos are now worried as their families, especially their children, wouldn’t have anything to eat. Some of these families are living right inside Bagbag Public Cemetery.

The residents there are mostly street vendors who rely on their daily income for food. They are financially challenged especially in our situation now. It is already fortunate for them to eat instant noodles for 5 days, but some have nothing to eat at all.

This project aims to give enough food to those less privileged families residing inside Bagbag cemetery.
