Campaign Story
I just launched a fundraising campaign to help vulnerable families that are greatly affected by COVID-19 Pandemic here in our community.
There's no denying that our community/country/world is facing a big crisis these days due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. As a result many people have no work because almost all establishments are closed. Vulnerable people - including most people living here in our place - are the most affected. Many people here are one day, one eat only. No work, no pay. And our local government unit hasn't yet given any support. As a mother, it pains me to see kids who have little/nothing to eat. I know it's much harder for the parents who are out-of-work right now to watch their children suffer from hunger.
This is the reason why I have launched the Food Assistance Fundraising Campaign today. My goal is to reach $420 to buy 6 sacks of rice, noodles, canned goods, and hygiene kits that will be divided among and will be given to the vulnerable households in our community.
While we are constantly and actively doing a follow up with the government, we need your help to make our efforts go even further!
