- My name is Simbwa Robinson. I was born 1996 in Mukono Uganda. I never had a chance to see my dad because he passed away before I was born. I grew up with my mother who later died when I was just 7 years old. My grand mother took the responsibility to take care of me, She could fetch firewood which she sold and got my school fees and also be able to buy food. Years later she became more and more weaker and she could nolonger fetch the firewood were she used to get my school fees and money to buy food which we would eat. Here i started to fetch water which i would sell and get money so that i can look after my grandmother and also continue with my education. I managed to complete my Senior four class(grade 10). Here the costs had increased and fetching water couldn't help me raise my school fees and also look after my old grandmother, I decided to drop out of school so that I can take care of my grandmother because she means alot to me.
Few weeks back I had a calling from God and this was to help the orphaned, poor and abandoned street children who are going through what I went through. And I believe it has been God's mercy and blessings that I have reached this far.
Glory be to God
I now take of 15 children aged between 3-14 years. I feed them three times a day, that means breakfast, lunch and dinner, our food is Posho and Beans. I can only afford to feed them when I get some money after fetching water for people in the community but now the needs are many. I shelter the children in the small room I live up with my grandmother. I need to move them to a big house, were they can sleep freely. This has become too heavy for me. That's why I'm looking for support for these children so that I can offer a safe environment where they can learn about how special they are in God's kingdom.
I am humbled as you help with any little you are able with.
THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE OF JESUS
