Fondazione Damiano Tamagni

This year, in February 2018, it has been 10 years since our tragic loss of Damiano. In ten years, with the Fondazione Damiano Tamagni, we have been able to support several projects, such as: The Van, Skate Park Vanja, Tatout Course - Learning to Protect Yourself, Midada Project, Midnight Sport, Campaign for the Prevention of Racism, Violence and Integration Through Sport, Project Fiordaliso, Generations in the Heart of Peace, Red Dragon Association, About Shackleton - Endurance, and many others.

For the 17th of March 2018, we are organizing a special event to commemorate the foundation's 10th year of existence. The event will be held in the Palexpo (FEVI) in Locarno (southern part of Switzerland). Different artists will play and exhibit, there will be music, entertainment for young and old, moments of reflection and speeches.
Thanks to the mediapartnership of Radio Rete Tre, with Dj Sterky and Mystic Barrito and the coverage of RSI with Il Quotidiano, the event will be highlighted, to which cantonal and municipal political authorities will be invited. All the artists are exhibiting free of charge, but still there are costs that need to be covered.

A minimal amount needed for the event is something around CHF 15’000.
Every higher amount will be used for the normal purpose of the foundation, which is to sponsor different projects against violence and for the sensibilisation of young people in the Italian part of Switzerland.

Quest'anno, nel febbraio 2018, saranno trascorsi 10 anni dalla nostra tragica perdita di Damiano. In dieci anni di tempo siamo riusciti a sostenere tramite la Fondazione Damiano Tamagni diversi progetti, come per esempio: The Van, Skate Park Vanja, Corso Tatout - Imparare a Proteggersi, Progetto Midada, Midnight Sport, Campagna di Prevenzione del Razzismo, della Violenza, e per l'Integrazione Attraverso lo Sport, Progetto Fiordaliso, Generazioni nel Cuore della Pace, Associazione Drago Rosso, About Shackleton - Endurance, e molti altri.

Il 17 marzo 2018 ci sarà un evento speciale per commemorare il decimo anno di esistenza della fondazione. L'evento si terrà al Palexpo (FEVI) a Locarno (Svizzera). Si esibiranno diversi artisti ci sarà musica, intrattenimento per grandi e piccini, momenti di riflessione e discorsi.
Grazie al media partenariato con Radio Rete Tre, con il dj set di Dj Sterky e Mystic Barrito, e alla copertura da parte del Quotidiano della RSI verrà dato risalto all'evento, al quale saranno inoltre invitate autorità politiche cantonali e comunali. Gli artisti si esibiranno pro deo, ma comunque rimangono costi da coprire.

Un importo minimo necessario per l'organizzazione di questo evento è di circa CHF 15'000.
Ogni importo più elevato sarà utilizzato per lo scopo normale della fondazione, cioè per sponsorizzare diversi progetti contro la violenza e per la sensibilizzazione dei giovani nella parte italiana della Svizzera.

In zehn Jahren konnten wir, mit der Fondazione Damiano Tamagni, mehrere Projekte unterstützen, wie zum Beispiel: The Van, Skate Park Vanja, Tatout Kurs - Lernen Sich Selber zu Schützen, Midada Projekt, MidnightSport, Präventionkampagne gegen Rassismus, Gewalt und Integration Durch Sport,Project Fiordaliso, Generationen im Herzen des Friedens, Red Dragon Association, Über Shackleton - Ausdauer und viele andere..

Am 17. März 2018 organisieren wir eine besondere Veranstaltung zum zehnjährigen Bestehen der Stiftung organisieren. Die Veranstaltung findet im Palexpo (FEVI) in Locarno (Schweiz) statt. Verschiedene Künstler werden auftreten, es wird Musik geben, Unterhaltung für Jung und Alt und Momente von Reflexion. Dank der Medienpartnerschaft mit Radio Rete Tre, mit der Dj set von Dj Stärkt und Mystik Barrito, und der Berichterstattung der Quotidiano der RSI wird die Veranstaltung hervorgehoben, zu der die kantonalen und kommunalen Behörden eingeladen werden. Alle Künstler treten kostenlos auf, aber trotzdem gibt es noch Kosten zu decken.

Ein Mindestbetrag, der für die Organisation dieser Veranstaltung erforderlich ist, beläuft sich auf rund CHF 15'000.
Jeder höhere Betrag wird für den normalen Zweck der Stiftung verwendet werden, nämlich um verschiedene Projekte zur Bekämpfung von Gewalt und zur Sensibilisierung junger Menschen in der italienischen Schweiz zu unterstützen.

En février 2018, dix années se sont écoulées depuis la tragique disparition de Damiano. En dix ans, nous avons été en mesure de soutenir avec la Fondazione Damiano Tamagni plusieurs projets, tels que: The Van, Skate Park Vanja, Cours Tatout - Apprendre à se protéger, Projet Midada, Midnightsport, Campagne de Prévention contre le Racisme, la Violence et Intégration Par le Biais du Sport, Projet Fiordaliso, Générations au Coeur de la Paix, Association Dragon Rouge, Shackleton - Endurance et beacoup d'autres.

Le 17 mars 2018 on va organiser un événement spécial pour commémorer le dixième anniversaire de l'existence de la Fondation. L’événement aura lieu chez le Palexpo (FEVI) à Locarno (Suisse) et sera riche de moments de musique, divertissement pour petits et grands, moments de réflexion et discours. Grâce au partenariat média avec Radio Rete Tre, avec le dj set de Dj Sterky et Mystic Barrito, et à la couverture du Il Quotidiano de RSI, l'événement sera mis en avant, auquel les autorités politiques cantonales et municipales seront invitées. Tous les artistes exposent gratuitement, mais il y a toujours des coûts à couvrir.

Le montant minimum nécessaire pour l’organisation de cet événement est d’environ CHF 15’000.-.
Chaque montant plus élevé sera utilisé dans le but normal de la fondation, donc servira à financer divers projets de lutte contre la violence et de sensibilisation des jeunes en Suisse italienne.

THE FOUNDATION "FONDAZIONE DAMIANO TAMAGNI"

The Fondazione Damiano Tamagni was formed to honor the memory of Damiano and its purpose is the prevention of juvenile violence and to assist the families involved. The loss of a child is such a tragic event that is impossible for parents to ever come to terms with it, regardless of how it happens. In this case it is impossible to find any sense in what happened. It is for this reason that we decided to constitute a foundation that deals with the problem of violence and, if this brings something good, maybe the death of Damiano will not have been without purpose.

Circumstances brought Damiano, a young man who was an example of all that is “good” in the youth of today, to find himself exactly in that place and moment to become a victim of the worst brutality one could imagine. Such an extraordinary event created much comment, as well as a deep emotion in the whole population. I thought very often about this and the conclusion I was able to draw is that his destiny really had to be that of the “perfect” victim so that public opinion would bring attention to the problem of juvenile violence as well as to give the authorities permission to bring security back to our country. The activities of the foundation are spontaneous and have been coordinated with the various entities and the qualified authorities.

LA FONDAZIONE DAMIANO TAMAGNI

La Fondazione Damiano Tamagni è stata costituita per onorare la memoria di Damiano ed ha come scopo la prevenzione della violenza giovanile e l’aiuto alle famiglie coinvolte. La perdita di un figlio è un avvenimento così tragico che nessun genitore riesce ad accettare, indipendentemente da come succede, ma in questo caso è impossibile trovare un senso da dare a quanto è accaduto ed è per questo che abbiamo deciso di costituire una fondazione che si occupi del problema della violenza e, se ciò porterà qualcosa di buono, forse potremo pensare che la morte di Damiano non sia stata del tutto inutile.

Tutte le circostanze hanno portato Damiano, un ragazzo che era un esempio della nostra gioventù “buona”, a trovarsi proprio in quel luogo e proprio in quel momento per essere investito dalla brutalità peggiore che si possa immaginare. Un fatto così eclatante ha creato grande scalpore mediatico, nonché grande emozione in tutta la popolazione. Ci ho pensato molto e la conclusione che ho potuto trarre è che il suo destino doveva proprio essere quello di vittima “perfetta” per fare in modo che sia l’opinione pubblica si accorgesse del problema della violenza dilagante tra i giovani e sia che le autorità avessero finalmente uno spunto per riportare la sicurezza nel nostro paese.

DIE STIFTUNG "FONDAZIONE DAMIANO TAMAGNI"

Die Fondazione Damiano Tamagni wurde zur Erinnerung an Damiano gegründet und zielt darauf ab, Jugendgewalt zu verhindern und den betroffenen Familien zu helfen. Der Verlust eines Kindes ist so ein tragisches Ereignis, dass kein Elternteil akzeptieren kann, unabhängig davon, wie es passiert, aber in diesem Fall ist es unmöglich, einen Sinn zu finden, und deshalb haben wir beschlossen, eine Stiftung zu gründen um mit dem Problem der Gewalt umgehen zu können und, wenn es etwas Gutes bringt, können wir vielleicht denken, dass Damianos Tod nicht völlig nutzlos war.

Alle Umstände brachten Damiano, einen Jungen, der ein Beispiel für unsere “gute” Jugend war, dazu, an genau diesem Ort zu sein und in diesem Moment von der denkbar schlimmsten Brutalität getroffen zu werden. Solch eine auffallende Tatsache hat eine große Mediensensation, sowie große Gefühle in der Bevölkerung geschafft. Ich habe viel darüber nachgedacht, und die Schlussfolgerung, die ich daraus ziehen kann, ist, dass sein Schicksal das eines “perfekten” Opfers gewesen sein muss, um sicherzustellen, dass die öffentliche Meinung das Problem grassierender Gewalt unter Jugendlichen und den Behörden kennt Sie hatten endlich die Möglichkeit, Sicherheit in unser Land zu bringen.

LA FONDATION "FONDAZIONE DAMIANO TAMAGNI"

La Fondazione Damiano Tamagni a été constituée pour honorer la mémoire de Damiano. Elle a comme but, la prévention de la violence juvénile et l’aide aux familles concernées. La perte d’un fils est un événement si tragique, qu’aucun parent ne réussit à accepter, indépendamment des circonstances. Dans ce cas précis, il est impossible de trouver un sens à donner à ce qui c’est passé. Pour ce motif, nous avons créé une fondation, qui s’occupe du problème de la violence, en espérant qu’elle portera quelque chose de positif. Ainsi pourrons-nous peut être penser que la mort de Damiano ne restera pas tout à fait inutile.

Toutes les circonstrances ont porté Damiano, un exemple de notre jeunesse saine à se trouver dans ce lieu précis, à ce moment précis,pour être assailli par la pire brutalité qu’on puisse imaginer. Un fait si éclatant, qui a produit un grand tapage médiatique et une forte émotion dans toute la population. J’y ai beaucoup pensé et la conclusion que j’ai pu en tirer est que son destin était vraiment d’être la victime “parfaite” pour que l’opinion publique se rende compte du problème de la violence envahissante parmi les jeunes et que les autorités aient finalement un motif pour reporter la sécurité dans notre pays.
