Fluffy the cat’s diabetic treatment fund.

Fluffy, the beautiful black and white cat, has Diabetes and needs help to pay for his treatment.

Fluffy is 15 and lives with Judy during the day and visits julie's home at night time. Judy is a retired cleaner and has already used her savings to help fluffy in the last 6 months with treatment. Unfortunately Fluffy was prescribed the wrong medication for his health by a previous vet and he is now in desperate need of insulin injections twice a day. At 15 he usually has bags of energy and zest for life. He has a bit of Maine Coon in him, is gentle, playful, intelligent and wants to live and carry on as normal. He could if we helped him but judy can't pay the vets fees. So we need your help.

Fluffy's body is now not producing insulin and so because he is thirsty, he is eating and drinking yet still losing weight. Its all part of being Diabetic. He has blood glucose of 19 (normal 4-6) low red blood cells and high white blood cell count, probably due to infection. The new vets suggested either euthanising him immediately as the condition would only get worse if not treated or giving him insulin injections 12 hours apart. We want to do the second option. Fluffy isn't quitting on us, its just his pancreas. So we are not quitting on fluffy.

Treatment may involve many trips to the vets until we get the insulin dosage right and measure his blood count. The vets are not far from his home and we have someone who has volunteered to take him. We just need the funds now.
