Flower is an approximately 3 year old rabbit who was brought to us on 10th March.

She had her spay today and her uterus was very unusual and had quite a few lumps.

Our vet has sent off some to a lab so we can find out more about it. Flower's surgery went well and she's now recovering at home.

Her vet bill for the spay was £69.30 and the lab test was £90.46 so we're hoping to raise £160 to cover both.

We are a small animal rescue in Nottingham and are non-profit. Any donations no matter how small are greatly appreciated. Alternatively you can donate via our Amazon Wishlist if you want to send items like food, bedding or treats directly to us. Visit our website for more info.

It's very important to have female rabbits spayed as up to 80% of them develop cancerous changes by the age of 5. Ideally they should be spayed at around 5-6 months, before any of these changes occur.
