A CALL TO SUPPORT OUR RELIEF EFFORTS
For the multitude of stray animals of Hua Hin, even in normal conditions making it from one day to the next is an ongoing fight for survival. Sadly, conditions became significantly more formidable for these animals last week after heavy rainfalls caused severe flooding in our area.
With our facilities already stretching beyond capacity, much of our efforts have been limited to in-the-field care and saving what can be saved - join us in sparing a thought for the many animals that would not have been able to get to a place of safety!
The flood waters have been receding following a few open-skies-sunshine days so things are looking somewhat better, but with local residents facing challenges of their own to rebuild all that was damaged by the floods, food scarcity will continue to be a serious difficulty for many stray animals for some time yet, until conditions settle back to some level of normality.
Funds are always our biggest challenge to do more, especially in circumstances such as these. We need your support to continue our efforts of offering relief to these stray animals by distributing food and medical care where it’s most needed.
