Flood family needs help with home

We are a family of 7, with 5 children. We were displaced by the flood that happened in September of 2011. FEMA has been able to outfit us with a temporary trailer, but it is just that, temporary. We need to find a permanent place to live and it is difficult to find a rental that will take us with so many children that we can afford on our income. We applied for a loan to get a four bedroom house in a decent area but we were denied. We applied for housing through the Housing Authority who says it could be 1 to 3 years before their waiting list moves us up and we can't use the housing in another county because of the distance from employment.

We are not asking for much in terms of housing. We need a house that has at least four bedrooms and have found a half-decent foreclosure in our area for $15,000. If we can come up with the $5,000 down payment a private financing company will help us with the rest. We just need to get close to $5,000. We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read this.
