Campaign Story
We are Mandisa Vilakazi, Tisetso Mothibi and Ashley Kunutu current students at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. We are studying Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Law and Political Studies), Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Geography and Sociology) as well as Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Geography and Media Studies)
We have been invited to attend a Global Leadership and Activism Summit in Atlanta, January next year. However, we do not have enough funds to buy ourselves traveling tickets. We would appreciate any amount of donations towards our flight tickets .
The trip to the Global leadership and activism Summit will affect us positively in the following ways:
-Improving our leadership skills.
-Getting a chance to network with influential people in order to be able to make a name for ourselves and open doors to new opportunities.
-The summit will empower us to be of service to other people and to give back to our communities.
-And lastly, it will be an opportunity for us to bring the skills we learnt abroad, back home to South Africa and expand the knowledge to our peers, families and communities.
